Burchfield Homestead Trolley Tour
A year in the making, this project is a collaboration between the Salem Historical Society and the Burchfield Homestead Society. Trolley guests will tour Salem to see the many sites and buildings that inspired Charles Burchfield’s paintings. Along the way, tour guests will hear about the artist’s childhood that helped develop his outlook of life which reflects in his artwork. The trolley will make a stop for the passengers to tour the interior of the Burchfield Homestead Society Museum.
There are two tours planned for “The Grand Opening ” Day on April 13, 2024:
- 1:00pm-2:30pm
- 2:30pm-4pm
Each tour will last just under 1.5 hours.
The cost of this tour is $20/person to cover the cost of both the trolley tour and the admission to the Burchfield Homestead Society Museum. Children under 12 years of age will be charged $5.
