DESCRIPTION:The Chamber Gallery of Art, located inside the @salemohchamber, invites you to share your talent and imagination in the upcoming Creative Arts Expo. How can you get involved? Just pick up a free 5×7 canvas for each participant from the Salem Area Chamber beginning March 1, 2025, during business hours, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.\nThere is no age limit, no exhibition theme, and no prior experience with art required. Just enjoy the process of creating! Participants can work in any medium—from traditional materials, like watercolor and acrylic, to more unconventional supplies, like bottlecaps and feathers. As long as everything used is securely fastened to the 5×7 canvas provided, anything goes!\nTo be part of the exhibition, participants must return the 5×7 canvas to the Chamber Gallery of Art, located inside the Salem Chamber at 210 East State Street in Salem, Ohio, by no later than April 11, 2025. All submitted canvases will be displayed at the Creative Arts Expo, which will take place Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 10 am to 2 pm. Exhibited canvases can be purchased during the Expo, with all proceeds benefiting the Chamber Gallery, which presents a monthly showcase of regional artists. In addition to the exhibition, the Expo will feature an arts walk that includes local artists’ open studios, arts demonstrations, and plein air painters. Refreshments and children’s activities will also be part of the event.\nPlease join us in celebrating our region’s creative wealth by completing and contributing a canvas to the Creative Art Expo!\n
